The delivery charges on internet orders are based on delivery in UK mainland (excluding some postcodes) so there will be extra charges if delivery is required elsewhere.( We can arrange delivery to many countries of the world). The consumer will be informed of the total price of the order before being binding and if there are any price changes before delivery then the consumer will have the option to cancel their order and get their money back. Any clerical or error or omission in any sales literature, quotation, price list (including the Internet), acceptance of offer, invoice or other document or information issued by the company shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of the company.Website prices may be different to our shop prices.

We try to process all orders as quickly as possible usually within 48 hours of receipt of order unless items are out of stock. If an item is out of stock we will contact you as soon as possible to offer you an alternative or a refund, for this reason, it is important you give us a correct phone number or email address. Confirmation of telephone instructions should be clearly marked as such, otherwise any additional expense incurred as a result of duplication of orders will be payable by the buyer.
All payments are in UK pounds £ sterling.We accept PayPal and take card payments over the phone.In the case of goods purchased by credit card, (in order to protect you, we carry out extensive checks to ensure that your card is not being used fraudulently) all cards used no details are stored for security reasons.
Acceptance of cancellation of an order shall be at the discretion of the Company and any such acceptance may be subject to payment by the buyer of a cancellation charge, representing the Company’s administrative costs involved. In certain instances where the Company has spent considerable effort in obtaining goods specially requested for by the customer, the Company might decide at its discretion not to allow cancellation of such order.
Delivery dates & time are given in good faith by the Company to indicate estimated delivery times but shall not amount to any contractual obligation to deliver at the time stated and is subject to payment clearance, locality, human error, courier company error and system failure. The company will accept no liability for direct or consequential loss or damage arising from delay in delivery or if the Customer is not in to sign for the delivery. For collection orders paid by credit card the cardholder must be present before or on collection. If there is a change to the agreed delivery date then the buyer shall have the right to cancel the order and receive a full refund of the amount paid.
All Next working day delivery are next day from date of dispatch. Orders need to be placed before 1:00pm for next working day delivery ,Monday -Thursday orders placed on Friday (standard next day before 5:30 or next day before 12:30) will be processed dispatched Monday for delivery on the Tuesday. Next working day delivery are from date of dispatch.
This is not a guarantee of next day delivery from order, this is to state that due to the perishable nature of some of our fresh meat products we deliver next day from dispatch. Due to the perishable nature of some of our fresh meat products, we dispatch meat products frozen packed with ice packs in a special insulated container, so the product will reach you in the best possible condition.
Please note: Field-Elicious South African Produce cannot be held responsible for defrosted meat products. Due to the weather conditions or a delayed courier service, it’s possible for it to thaw, so please keep that in mind when ordering large quantities.
All product weights for delivery are calculated including any product packaging ( jars ,bottles ,packets) and postage packaging e.g. 500g of Boerewors + icepack + packaging = delivery charge.
Due to the perishable nature of some of our fresh meat products it is important that you are available to receive delivery of the goods on the day of delivery. If you are not there you will incur a re-delivery charge you can not cancel the order because of this extra charge. You will have the option to pay for re-delivery or collect your order from the delivery company’s depot. We cannot be held responsible for any spoilage of your goods if you were not in to receive and sign for your delivery
We will try our best to package glass as best as we can and cant take liability for any breakages when the parcel has left us and in transit.
If you are not able to accept your delivery on the day that we inform you it will arrive, you can arrange for the following but only before your goods are dispatched:
1) Arrange for a different delivery day2) Ask for parcel to be left safe on your premises, at your risk3) Ask for your parcel to be left with a neighbour at your risk4) Contact the courier company to re- arrange for the delivery (additional charges may apply) to be made to you or collection from the depot.
You must notify us within 24hours of dispatch notification if you have not received your goods.
We cannot be held responsible for any spoilage or loss of your goods if you were not there to receive/sign for your delivery.
We also take every care to ensure products are sent in a good condition and packed securely, so it will be at the Company’s discretion whether, or not to replace damaged goods due to the courier’s negligence.
6. DESPATCH CHARGES:
All orders will be subject to carriage charges. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the company or as part of a promotion .The carriage charges are subject to change without notice . This additional charge will not be refundable in the event of any dispute arising on the contract.
7. DAMAGE OR LOSS IN TRANSIT AND SHORTAGES:
Any damage to goods in transit should be notified to the carriers immediately and to the Company within 24 hours of receipt. Packaging and contents must be held for inspection, on-receipt of goods to be notified within 24 hours of receipt of invoice. If the buyer is a consumer then a reasonable time will be allowed to inspect the goods to ensure the order complies with The Sale of Goods Act 1979.
8. VALUE ADDED TAX:
Where chargeable, Value Added Tax will be charged at the rate applicable at the date of dispatch.
9. REFUND POLICY
We endeavour at all times to ensure our products are of the highest standard. If, however, we have not met your expectations, please let us know and we will gladly arrange a refund for you. Do not throw away the product you deem as faulty, send the product back to us, and we will arrange a redelivery/refund. Please note that due to the perishable nature of some of our products, especially the baked goods; we may not be able to offer refunds on some of these products.
Any requests for refunds must be made within 3 days of receipt of the order. Delivery charges are not included in any refund policy and the customer is responsible for the costs of returning any goods, unless otherwise decided by Field-Elicious South African Produce.
