About Us

We are a small family business that takes pride in all our Biltong, Droewors, Boerewors, Chilli bites and all of our homemade South African desserts and street food.We are based 20 miles from Birmingham in the West Midlands where we have a shop called Biltong Shack just off the A38.

We hold a 5 star rating with our local council for the production of our products.

Eric Field has been a chef for the last 19 years. Eric did his training in South Africa where he worked on wine estates and hotels. He has had the opportunity to work in Saudia Arabia. Eric Moved to the Untied Kingdom in 2001 where he worked in London in restaurants and boutique hotels.

Eric went into branded restaurants were he was part of a team helping training all the new chefs and new openings.

We have a selection of South African street food available every Saturday and Sunday. Through out the week we have a light lunch menu

Charlene Field has been in the catering industry from the age of 16, where she started her catering training at Walsall collage to train To become a Chef, After leaving collage Charlene deicided to work front of house in fine dinning around the West Midlands and Essex. Upon returning to the West Midlands Charlene went into working as a manager in branded restaurants.
